Boyer & Boyer Team Volunteers at the Food Bank of Manatee

Last month, Boyer & Boyer staff members and attorneys spent an afternoon volunteering at the Food Bank of Manatee County. The team cumulatively packed over 800 Sack Summer Hunger Bags for children in need. These bags were distributed to Title 1 schools and to Summer Break Spots around town. Summer Break Spot provides nutritious meals at no cost to children 18 and under while school is out for the summer. Many meal sites are located at places like parks, libraries and churches and offer breakfasts, lunches, snacks or supper. Summer Break Spot feeds the children lunch and then they are given Snack Summer bags for the weekend. The bags that Boyer & Boyer packed helped keep kids full that weekend.
The team had a great time and hopes to return to the Food Bank soon!
